/home/pi/.advance/advmame.sdl.rc
changed device_alsa_device from 'default' to 'sdl' and the audio syncs just fine now.

AdvanceMAME Audio Slightly Out of Sync
I've noticed that all my games under AdvanceMAME have the audio slightly out of sync. Is there any quick fix for this? Much appreciated!

Monitor Rolling Issues
Any idea why this happens on a small select amount of games? Seems to happen on some Taito games. Here's an example of the monitor roll happening on Qix. I've tried using different version of the rom and placing the rom in other emulator folders, but I get the same thing no matter what. Any ideas? h...

Re: [SOLVED] Vertical games displaying Horizontal?
I genuinely thought there were scripts within arpicade that automatically rotated the games. But this is definitely good to know. Thanks It has not been an issue with very many games, only those using MAME 2003 and it's because that emulator does a good job of translating an analog control to a joy...

Re: Vertical games displaying Horizontal?
Figured it out! Doing even more Google searching around and then finding some other config files online with some ideas on where to look, I found that in this directory: /home/pi/.config/retroarch I needed to edit this .cfg file: mame078_libretro_224.cfg And change: video_rotation = "0" to video_rot...

[SOLVED] Vertical games displaying Horizontal?
So today I noticed that both Arkanoid and Arkanoid II appear sideways when they load: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/files/thumb_img_2109_13.jpg The ROMs are using mame-078 and I cannot seem to find any place where I can rotate the screen 90 degrees like in most other MAME versions. Any idea w...

Re: [SOLVED] Help with screen colors & adjustments!
Why not just unsolder and remove the header pins? Can always solder them back in later. Put in small bag and tape or tie to board so you won't lose them. To be honest I’m not the best when it comes to soldering stuff so I’d have to pay someone else to do that. The electrical tape works just fine, a...

Re: Help with screen colors & adjustments!
Glad you sorted it out. I will need to remember this for if I put my Arpicade into my other cab. You could also just cut off the pin for the Red input, unless you're going to use the external input/s, but I don't think you ever will. I did think about that as I probably would never use that pin, bu...

Re: Help with screen colors & adjustments!
Is there a way you can connect your raspberry jamma directly to the machine without using all the other pcbs so you can rule the pcbs out? When I first read this I thought to myself "why would I need to do that when the other boards worked just fine in those slots?" But then, I realized, you're rig...

Re: Help with screen colors & adjustments!
Your HDMI to VGA converter may be faulty or not plugged into the Jamma Pi board properly. I had the HDMI to VGA adapter on my original Arpicade board die last year, it would work about one in every 15 times the machine was turned on. I'm thinking maybe faulty? It's plugged in as tight as it will go...
