Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
I've been playing a lot of Mr Driller, 2 & G on .269, none of these are saving their high scores....is there any way to fix this? From what I have read MAME does not save high scores like before, so what I did was enabled auto save in mame.ini what it does is (for the drivers that support it) if yo...

Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
Just need to find the time and energy to do so. Some thing that should already work: fullscreen the console that loads after exiting the menus (*or most other things that don't load fullscreen) with winkey+alt+f - it will make it much easier to use, unfortunately I haven't figured out how to automa...

Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
Just tried out the Pi5 build with mame .269 really good, few things on wishlist and questions: 1. MAME .269 updater does not create a mame-269 folder in the boot partition, might be a good idea to make it do that. 2. Since we have donut dodo and fixit felix, any chance to have this on here as well? ...

Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
Testiment to arpicade, I have 4 MiSTers, 2 setups of PC with JPAC and heaps of unreliable jamma boards, I come back to my cabs after 3 years, guess which one works like a champ? Arpicade Pi 3b+. So got excited and got a Pi 5, however MAME .172 buttons are not working. Player one start button doesnt ...

Autosave State for NES/SNES (Retroarch) not working.
Is it intended not to work to ensure the SD card doesn't get corrupt? I tried to setup the save on exit and auto load save state for NES in retroarch menu - didnt seem to work. Also I am running Arpicade 3.83 for my Horizontal CRT cab, never needed to update it incase something changed afterwards.

Re: What amp specification is arpicade?
Good point about the shielding, explains why my CRT keeps needing degaussing. I will try to get a car speaker and try to hack up some shielding using aluminum foil

What amp specification is arpicade?
Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, my current cab has cheap speaker which crackles at higher volume, I was thinking I would buy a Sony car speaker and replace it. Could you please let me know the impedence etc so I can get a suitable speaker without damaging the arpicade or the speaker. 2 years after g...

Re: New Raspberry Pi 4
This is def not a RPi4 specific request but do you think you can bring in the runahead modes found on retroarch on the arpicade hardware. For Consoles upto SNES (not the special chips) and fBneo, the games are a lot snappier in retropie-hdmi, I am thinking it could be amazing for the arpicade platfo...
