Re: Pi4 "Lightguns" testing and comparison

Sounds good. Haven’t bought a RPi 4 yet but this is another good reason to. Not in a hurry just making plans for the future. Thanks for all you do to continue evolving your great product.

Re: Pi4 "Lightguns" testing and comparison

I’m so happy to see this review. I’ve been eyeing the Sinden for a while now but didn’t want to buy one until it was figured out if it could work with Arpicade. Dee2er, are you planning to work on a Sinden integration or at least some instructions if you can’t distribute the software? Also, did you ...

Re: ARpiCADE 3.X (that's a ten, I thought 10 may be confusing...)

I’ve had similar problems that cool_factor mentions (screen going blank) in previous builds of ARpiCADE. Had it happen to me on most recent build a couple days ago. Exactly as described, exit the game to attract mode and you’re in attract mode but the screen is blank. You can still control the menu,...

Re: ARpiCADE 3.X (that's a ten, I thought 10 may be confusing...)

Vertical monitor question. I have a 19" G07 in my Ms. Pac-Man. I was running 3.84 but upgraded to 3.x and have an issue with the "bottom" (it's the right-side on a vertical oriented monitor) of the screen curling. For instance, playing Donkey Kong the girders on the right side of the screen curve "u...

Re: Help Before I just give up

Timeout before you buy anything from Mike’s arcade. If you had a 60in1 and game-elf working in that can it must have a jamma adapter already in it. You shouldn’t have to buy anything. I have a Ms.Pac with original control panel and have the original wiring going through the Mike’s arcade adapter to ...

Re: ARpiCADE 3.X (that's a ten, I thought 10 may be confusing...)

Understoood that a clean build is best. I mainly want to retain all my mame button settings. I’m running 4-player games only on one sd card and have another sd card for 2-player games where I’ve configured mame to work with control panel players 2&3 as players 1&2. Some settings at the emulator leve...

Re: Help Before I just give up

Hang in there. This is a pretty detailed and complicated hobby when you realize what’s going on here. With that said, I have an ultimarc trackball with USB adapter that works with my Arpicade. First off, check the usb connections. Make sure it’s plugged into the pi usb before turning the game on. It...

I would like to try this new build but is there a way to just update the OS without starting over and losing / having to change my various settings? Thank you.

Re: Press tab - distorted image/sound menu list

Happens to me too and probably everyone else. The actual arcade games themselves had multiple volume controls. A game may have a volume in its settings to modify and then the actual volume knob on the arcade cab. Mame has an additional volume control. Press the “~”, the one in the upper left of most...

Re: Free play - tab not working

Have you tried just adding credits with the shortcut? Seems like it would be easier than setting everything on FreePlay. I found this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h8QHnB3R8e0 It’s on a retropie setup but the menus will be similar but look different. Looks like you have to set a specific butto...
