Re: Sluggish Gameplay
Measuring at the board. I was getting the lightning bolt, so given that and what I read about power being a possible issue, I bumped it up. Backed it down to 5.2v now. Running 3.11 (RPi3+). Also saw some slowdown on Hang On. Seems to be the games past 1984.

Sluggish Gameplay
I'm seeing some issues with a few games slowing down here and there during gameplay (Demolition Derby, Chase HQ, Ivan Stewart Off-road). The sound and the game get choppy and slow down while playing here and there. I checked voltage and it's around 5.3v. Is there a setting that I need to change? Run...

Re: Raspberry 3B+
Hey Deezer. I just encountered the same issue with a couple of new Pi3 B+ boards I got from Amazon (the flash pattern was power failure type B: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/configuration.html#led-warning-flash-codes). I took a really close look and there is a slight difference...

Re: Tempest With Turbo Twist
Resolved. Had to switch to version 3.X(ten), set hdmi=1 in the config file, and placed the ROM in the 106 folder (advancemame). The game came up weird with half of it off screen, but then went into the game-specific video settings and set resolution to 480.

Re: Tempest With Turbo Twist
Thanks for the info. The spinner does work when I take it out there and add it to the array below the one you mentioned (runs game specifically in 3.0) but the game now plays in horizontal mode, so I can only see half of it (I'm trying to run it in a vertical monitor, like it's designed to be in). I...

Tempest With Turbo Twist
Hi all. Has anyone had success using the OptiWiz Turbo Twist with Tempest? It works with other games (just plug and play), but I can't figure out how to get it going for Tempest. Tried going into settings, but I couldn't figure it out.

No Sound
Hi, back again... Got everything straightened out video-wise and am now trying to get the sound going but have hit a snag (specifically, I’m getting none). I’m guessing there is an issue with the 7511 chip (amp?) as it has visible damage (a crack, possibly overheated?). I did plug in a different Arp...

Re: Reverse screen?
I used both. It was for a vertical screen setup, so if I remember correctly I also had to rotate it as such (not sure if that's a factor or not).

Re: Reverse screen?
My screen exploded!!! Why would you tell me to do that?!?!
Ha, kidding. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks!

Reverse screen?
Hi. I’m trying to get my latest Arp to work in a cab with a mirror. I was able to flip the screen to display backwards via manipulation of the yoke wiring but am wondering if there isn’t a setting or hack to have the Arpicade do this. I know the screen can be flipped upside-down but am wondering abo...
