High scores recovery
I have found that if I quit a game too early (jump back to the games menu), I lose previous high scores on the game I was playing. Which file/script writes out to the *.hi high-scores file? I would like to edit this file to save a copy of the previous *.hi file so that I can recover it if necessary.

How to enable freeplay
I currently use the pre-defined hot-key sequence to 'insert credits'. I want to enable freeplay by default (for those games that allow it). I see in the documentation that I need to set misc_freeplay yes, and i tried that in /boot/config.txt, but to no avail. Where (which file) do I edit to set that?
