Hi I post this here as I managed to fix the launch of megadrive/genesis emulation on the arpicade 4.3.1 first this is to modify /home/pi/.config/retroarch/picodrive.cfg and set: input_driver = "x" instead of linuxraw then go modify /boot/launchers/megadrive.sh adding a doble quotes to the $2 argumen...

yeah I think the system JayBee is doing seems the ideal one, it seems that is also an addon so the GCon has to be attache to it, I hope this will make it a little cheaper.

I was able to install manually the psp emulator (lr-ppsspp for retroarch) and I must say that works quite well on my RPi4. I just tested Tekken 6 and God of War. Nice review, but I think I would like to use a real lightgun with my CRT, would it be difficult to integrate with the emulators?
