Re: Black Screen, flickering. ARpiCADE dead?
Alright, finally had time to do some testing yesterday. LED lights were blinking, so I crossed that off. Plugged the DAC from my PC into my TV, and got nothing. Ordered a new DAC for ¥1000, and it just arrived a moment ago. Plugging it in now... ...everything is working swimmingly! Thank you, my goo...

Yes, I'd appreciate that. How do we start the diagnosis? I'm not very knowledgeable about PCB troubleshooting, so I'm not sure where to begin.I'm happy to help you diagnose it, or if you want to send it to me to look at am happy to do that too.

Black Screen, flickering. ARpiCADE dead?
Hello there. I've had my ARpiCADE hooked up to my SEGA Blast City for a little over a year now, and the other day while I was working in my arcade, I noticed the cabinet, which was on and running in attract mode, had a black screen, flickering slightly, and making a quiet clicking noise. I thought m...

Re: Can never get kick harness to work.
Hey, sorry about the delay. Just received the CPS2 harness you recommended. I wired it up last night, flipped the dip switches, and...was suddenly beset with another riddle. All 6 buttons on P2 worked fine, but the light kick (button 4) on P1 did not work at all on my first try. Took me about 30 min...

Re: Can never get kick harness to work.
Thanks for the help, dee2er & hulkk03. I'll order that harness and see how it goes. I seriously think that kickharness where you connect to CN6 right now, does not belong to sega blast city I/O board. I live in Japan, and I ordered a "cps1" harness from a local vendor, and this is what they sent me....

Re: Can never get kick harness to work.
Hey, no worries! I'm just thankful for your help. This is what I have going on at the moment: 20190826_172913.jpg I believe I have the same JNX Atlas adapter as yourself, but the harness I have, which I thought was cps1, has 10 pin housings on both ends :? . These only fit on the cn5 and cn6 connect...

Re: Can never get kick harness to work.
I gave up and I end up using JNX Atlas Adapter. It's work very well. Thanks for your time, though! Hey, would you mind taking a few photos of your JNX atlas Adapter wiring set-up? Actually, I should elaborate a bit. I've got no idea what I'm doing, and should probably post in the newbie area, but I...

Re: New to Mame/arcade scene
Wow, thanks! Yeah, I had a multi meter lying around. Put it up to 5.1 and everything runs great now.
Much obliged!

New to Mame/arcade scene
Hello folks! I'm a gaijin living in Japan, and just purchased my first Candy Cab last year. I'm a console gamer interested in getting into arcade gaming, but original PCBs are crazy expensive. In the meantime I wanted to put a reliable multicade system into my Sega Blast City, and discovered the tan...
