Is anyone able to post a screenshot of their configuration file showing how they disable rom scanner on start-up.
I have hashed out what I thought was correct but it keeps running on start-up,

Ok,so i have got the 0.172 rom and put it in the correct folder.

Now when i press load the game from the list it says game loading but then just jumps back to the main menu.

Any ideas?

What version rom and which version of mame should this go in to ,so it will work.

I have tried numerous roms,different mame folders and I can not get it to work.

Would be great to have it working correctly as it's my second favourite game.

So having sorted my Vertical Display issues,I have run into another issue. I sorted all my MAME set into just Vertical games and loaded it up.Works great on some of my favourite games,ie 1942 Galaga Raiden and a few others I tried,but some like Pacman,Donkey Kong,Galaxian,are loading up with a tear ...

Thanks mate,after finally trying everything else I came across this and did-it and it worked earlier this morning.

Hi, I have read and read everything i can find on this problem i am having with my vertically mounted monitor displaying the screen upside down but with no luck. I have edited the config txt numerous times with no luck,done what others have said and no luck. I am editing it from my windows laptop,so...
