Re: Dedicated pause button
I was hoping there would be a way to make one button pause all games & emulators, similar to how the "Hold 1P Start for a couple of seconds + P1 Joy Down" function works. Is that not possible?

Dedicated pause button
How can I map a dedicated pause button in v.3.7 (yes I know its very old)? My cab already has a couple "extra" buttons wired to jamma but how do I make one act as a pause button?

Re: Exit game/return to desktop
AND I turns out I had the exact same "problem" that I solved by myself the exact same way a couple years ago!

Re: Exit game/return to desktop
I figured it out. Looks like my card got corrupted because when I burned a new one everything worked again (always backup your images, kids!). But thanks again for your help & always prompt replies. I haven't upgraded to 3.8 or 3.9 yet because my buddy has 3.8 and I found the boot-up and transitions...

Exit game/return to desktop
I used to be able to press P1+P2 to exit a game and return to the attract mode desktop, now when I do that I'm just stuck at a blank screen. Any idea what happened? I'm still using v3.7 btw. Thanksssssss

Vertical image
Dee2er!
Is there a vertical version of your image I can use to play vertical shmups on my vertical cab?
I know there's a way change settings in RetroArch to rotate the games sideways, but what about the main menu(s)??

Re: Trouble updating the splash screen
It worked! Hooray! Thank you!
And while you're here, is there something I can type to get from the terminal back to attract mode without having to reboot?

Re: Trouble updating the splash screen
Thanks for the quick reply! My reply was so slow because I forgot to ask the forum to notify me when a reply is posted  The "home" folder is restricted for me but the "pi" folder isn't, so I dropped my new splash.png file in there. So what do I do next? And please make your instructions as idi...

Trouble updating the splash screen
I'm having trouble updating the splash screen. When I put the memory card in my PC, Windows doesn't recognize what's on the card and asks me to format. When I put the card back into the Pi, I'm able to browse the files & folders on the card using a program called FileZilla, but I don't have any perm...
