Re: Low voltage lightning bolt

Thanks for the reply, that's the route I have taken in the config.txt without any issues. Even My bench test pi 3b system hooked up to an lcd with pi recommended 2.5A power supply shows flashes of the lightning bolt as well upon arpicade boot up, so go figure. Never had any issues with game performa...

Re: New Arpicade won't boot - static lightning bolt

Glad you got it sorted, quite a learning lesson but very valuable to understanding how it all works.

Regarding the sd card size adjustment, see my post here: https://arpicade.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... p=135#p135

Re: New Arpicade won't boot - static lightning bolt

Might want to try downloading a fresh image from the downloads section and put it on a different micro sd card. Also could try loading up the raspberry pi out the jamma setup and run it to a computer Lcd screen to eliminate any of that setup. You could use the hdmi/vga adaptor. Digging deep here but...

Re: Low voltage lightning bolt

Thanks for the reply dee2er! Nintendo cabs don't have an adjustable 5v off the power supply and my vector labs adaptors don't either. Looks like I will have to install the switching power supply or perhaps recap the oem one.

Low voltage lightning bolt

Hi all, Running arpicade with pi3b in my nintendo cab with oem nintendo power supply. Looks like my 5v may be weak as the lightning bolt appears during loading and gameplay. Is it possible to run a separate external power supply directly to the pi while it still being connected to Jamma or would I h...

Re: ARpiCADE 3.82 Release!

Disappointed that mame4all was removed on this release, might make me hold off from upgrading. Did it create other compatibility issues with other emus? One of my fav games Narc only ran good in mame4all. Advmame, mame078, mame139, mame 192, mame172 all had either major audio distortion or unplayable.

Re: Recalbox for Arpicade R1 - UPDATE - Download link

This worked great, thanks for making it available! Very easy to put the games on a usb stick which offers a lot of flexibility to remove and update without fear of corrupting the sd card accidentally. Love the music themes and cartoon backgrounds. The bottom icons are a little small to see on my CGA...

Re: Recalbox for Arpicade R1 - UPDATE - Download link

thanks for the clear instructions and updated links.

Fyi to all that will be installing this, the sd recalbox image will not fit on an 8GB Sd card its too big, back to the store I go to get a 16GB card.
