Re: Naomi
OK... It appears the two Sega games ... Virtua Athlete and WWF Royal Rumble ... use two Sega I/O's ... and each give this error when I attempt to change from 2 player mode to 4 player mode: "ERROR!! I/O BD CONNECTED TO NAOMI BD DOES NOT FULFILL THE GAME SPECS." My hypothesis is that it's recognizing...

Re: Naomi
OK... got in to the Service/Test menus for NAOMI. Was able to get Dirty Pigskin in to 4-player mode and it seems to be working now. I was able to get in to WWF Royal Rumble and change to 4-player mode, but I now get the error: "I/O Board Does Not Meet the Game Specs" ...and I remember someone on ano...

Re: Naomi
...and button 3 is the Y-Shoulder evidently.
GOOD NEWS: Power Stone 2 and Guilty Gear are working fine. The same can not be said for WWF Royal Rumble or Dirty Pigskin thus far.
A step in the right direction at least!
Woohoo!

Re: Naomi
OK... after taking a step back for a few days I figured I'd give it a go again this morning. ...and success! Well, mostly. I have P3 and P4 working now... directions + B1 and B2. Still trying to determine what input B3 is... I keep mapping and still nothing thus far... I'm sure I'll eventually run a...

Re: Naomi
Yeah... I spent an hour trying to get P3 and P4 to work. No success. I am having exactly the same luck trying to get P3 and p4 to work with NAOMI as I did with FBA. I've tried adjusting the controls in the QUICK MENU as well as under the settings INPUT section. Fail all the way around. I can't tell ...

Re: Naomi
Ah... re-reading this apparently you're aware of the issue of trying to get P3 and P4 to be recognized. Forgive my PM. :) I can confirm that my ROMs all now work. I can play P1 and P2 for each gave I've tried thus far fine. I am absolutely floored at how well these games play with this Pi4 to be hon...

Re: Naomi
Anyone? Anything? I'm pretty stuck at this point. I even tried using the native ROM files I have for the NAOMI Netbooting cabinet I have.
Has ANYONE here gotten Naomi to work on the Pi4? If so... any guess as to what I am doing wrong?

Re: Naomi
Man... I've tried it all. I tried a Merged Set ROM (doesn't include the BIOS file) I tried a Non-Merged Set ROM (includes the BIOS file) I tried including the NAOMI bios file in the folder... I tried not including it in the folder. I tried using an Attract-Mode ROM List line that references the BIOS...

Fail still.
Could someone please post a line from their ROMlist showing a NAOMI game please?

Re: FBA 4 Player?
Well, so much for the IGS Polymaster games. I did get a couple to work in AdvMAME... BUT! I had not realized that these games (all of them evidently) are 4-button games. So much for the "there are no 4-player games with more than 3 buttons" rule that I learned years go. :D I have 3 buttons on the pa...
