Re: ARpiCADE_5 beta - for Pi4 or Pi5.
The 2.5A ones I use a the moment are greenish. The 2A and 1A used prior to that both look identical and beige-ish (a 2A may well do, 1A definately isn't going to work well with Pi5).

Re: Virtua Tennis on Arpicade
Looks like you probably have an old version of ARPiCADE software. Not likely that's running on a Pi4.

Re: Virtua Tennis on Arpicade
Every version of ARpiCADE for Pi4 has had Flycast *the Naomi emulator* installed by default. You should have a naomi folder in /boot/romsArcade/ ready to go.

Re: ARpiCADE_5 beta - for Pi4 or Pi5.
You will need a HDMI to micro HDMI adaptor to suit the micro HDMI on the Pi5. I recommend using one with a short cable rather than the solid type as the solid type can get in the way of the DAC mounting due to its size. Assuming your cab power wiring is fine and your RaspberryJAMMA has the 2.5A fuse...

Re: Virtua Tennis on Arpicade
What version of the RPi does your cab have? You will need at least a Pi4 for Virtua Tennis. Originally Virtua Tennis ran on the SEGA Naomi hardware which is not well supported by MAME, you need to use the dedicated emulator for Naomi. When you add games to a build that has the default rom scanning a...

Re: Coin mech settings on NBA Jam caninet
should work fine on your arcade monitor. It's only really when you have to use a text console that they can be a bit tricky... unless you have attrocious picture quality on the monitor or something. If there is anything you cannot read on your cab monitor it is OK to try it outside the cab with a Pi...

Re: Coin mech settings on NBA Jam caninet
It's best to plug in a keyboard while it is off. Sometimes when you plug one in while it's running the running program won't pick it up.

Re: RPi Firmware update for Pi's mid 2023 and newer
I've been aware of this for a couple of weeks now, have been making an update to suit. What settings are you running in your cab? I've experienced issues with the res switching on low res setups with just the firmware fix you have posted (works great in high res though). Have you had any issues on t...

Re: Coin mech settings on NBA Jam caninet
On a per game basis you can adjust any settings you can adjust on a real board. 'Tab' will open MAMEs menus which give you access to diupswitch settings and 'test' or 'F2' will open most boards test menus (like you'd use for the pricing adjustment on your NBAJam board). For a one and done all games ...
