Re: need help changing my sd card from cga to vga
Please post your current config.txt and I'll be happy to guide you though it. Not knowing which version of the software you're running I'd just be guessing otherwise.

Re: ARpiCADE_5 beta - for Pi4 or Pi5.
Basic Pi5 rom advice: use MAME 0.251 for most stuff, try 172 after that. MAME 172 is good for PS1 based arcade boards and late model CAVE. MAME 078/MAME 2003plus is good for Killer instinct 1 and 2 and Virtua Fighter (1) I haven't found a good emulator for NFL BLitz, unfortunately it'l run but not f...

ARpiCADE_5 beta - for Pi4 or Pi5.
Pi5 software is here! Also works on Pi4. There's a lot of things that have changed from earlier ARpiCADE releases. For the first time ARpiCADE is using X11 and KMS instead of the console/frame buffer, also using keyboard emulation for inputs for the first time due to a bug with RaspiOS/DKMS stopping...

Re: Raspberry Pi 5 Support
Had a quick look at Muchi Muchi Pork. It seems full speed on a vert monitor, almost but not constant full speed rotated on a hori monitor. Pi5 4gig, MAME 0.172
Doing the Pi5 beta release now. Should be up soon.

Re: Wonderboy
Not sure hwich version of ARpiCADE you're using or what model Pi but it should run great in MAME 0.172 with the MAME 0.172 rom (if you using a Pi older than a Pi3 maybe use Advmame/MAME0.106). It should run in basically any MAME really, the trick is you need to have the correct version of the rom fo...

Re: Raspberry Pi 5 Support
Pi5 support is coming soon. I have a pretty good beta release candidate going already, I'm more or less happy to release it for some beta testing. If you didn't order it already, also order one of the official heatsink fan combo coolers, very cheap and basically needed for back powering via ribbon c...

Re: Daphne : No sound in Dragon's Lair (only "action beep")
There's a commented out line in /boot/run.sh to move the sound to the Pis 3.5mm jack. If you uncomment it the audio setting should be changed. I think that's all that's needed. Audio out of the Pi won't be quite as good but in most cases for the old games we are playing the difference probably would...

Re: Using Arpicade as a dedicated game?
That should work. There's not much that can go wrong trying it, at worst that line wont run and the next line in run.sh will, so give it a go.
Let me know if you run into issues and I'll check it out.

Re: Raspberry Pi 5 been announced today
Quick $8 Pi5 cooler review. Tested on a 30degree C day, at less than that temp in my office. Stock Pi5 clock speeds were used, I'm still yet to try overclocking. The cooler is tiny and looks and feels cheap, but it is cheap so that's fine. The aluminium heatsink part is not particulaly substantial, ...

Re: playstation set up
Which version of ARpiCADE are you using? It should be as easy as adding the disc image to /boot/romsConsoles/playstation/ if it's a single file image, that and a bios file is needed for some games (some will work with the build in emulated bios some want a real bios). I'm not sure offhand if Tekken ...
