You should be able to extract the .tar.gz file using 7zip or similar. Once extracted you should have a regular .img file, I've never used Etcher but it should be able to see it. What extension did the file have when extracted?

For me this theme shows without any game names visible in the game list. Everything else looks like it should but there are no titles for the games. Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: nevermind, turns out I'd broken my gamelist doing something else... it was just PEBCAC

I'm not sure what's actually going wrong but it sounds like the exit command is actually working (or nothing would happen) but the menu is not reloading for some reason.
