Changing the "go to menu" key combo

So i have an arpicade ithat i want to put in an existing cab that has a high end switcher and kick harness condenser. the problem is that both the switcher and the arpicade use the hold p1 and p2 button. Is there a way to reprogram the arpicade to use a different button compination? IF so, is there a link on where i change it? thanks

ARpiCADE hasn't used p2 start as part of the exit shortcut for years - the current system in use only supports using P1 inputs. The default 'exit game' command is just holding P1 start for a few seconds. If you mean to open the MAME menu it's start+right...
Either way the defaults can be changed in /boot/hotkeys.ini I recommend backing up the original first in case you accidentally break it.
