How do I know which MAME version I am using?

Easiest way to tell from the game select menu is to press 'e' on keyboard while the game is selected. This opens the edit menu for that particular game so be careful not to change anything accidentally.

The easiest way to check the lot is to plug your SD card into your PC and look, either directly at the rom folders or at the All Games romlist in /home/pi/.attract/romlists
