GERT 666 HELP

i apologize in advance as i don't mean to offend anyone with my question. i don't have an arcade machine, but i do have a Pi3 and a GERT 666 GPIO board. i have used it with RetroPie and managed to get some okay results in actual 240p on a RGB modded US consumer level TV. i was hoping someone had a config file that i could download that would have the configuration for the 666. i have tried messing with it for a few hours and i am getting nowhere. a friend recommended this image since he purchased the ARpiCADE board and is running it in his setup and it looks great.

any help would be greatly appreciated. i understand that a lot of work went into this so i apologize if i seem out of place requesting information without having made a purchase.

There's no straightforward way to use ARpiCADE with a Gert666.
