Bubble bobble

Original image came from HSS and I hand picked all my ROMS from it. No matter the version I try I can't get it to load. Tried using compatibility list suggestions and still a no go. Have bublbobl and bublboblr1 ROMS and don't even remember where they were originally. Am I missing a bios file or something. Acts like it's loading then back to attract mode.

I run it in AdvMAME as I don't have a newer rom for Bubble Bobble. Just checked it out and it was fine, no bios needed, only file I had in the AdvMAME rom folder was bublbobl.zip no bios or anything extra. You may have had your rom go bad for some reason? Corruption? It's weird if it worked before and doesn't now. Can you get the rom back off an older backup or similar? It may get it going again.

Note to self... Pay closer attention to the allgames list. Correct spelling helps games launch better... Can't believe I didn't catch that as many times as I was playing around with moving the ROM..
