So, I've been using this old Transcend USB SD card reader ... forever. I never really paid attention to it... but today I'm imaging up a few of the same file and I drop in an older A1 card and it writes the image... 21 minutes and change. This is normal. I've extracted this image multiple times over the last week (ARpiCADE setup/playing). It's always 21 minutes and change...

Next I pop in a brand new A2 SanDisc Extreme card. I fully expected an improvement. Nope... 21 minutes and change it says.

So I pull the reader out... look around the room knowing i have another one somewhere... I find it... it's one of those multi models ... with a bunch of types of cards including micro. I pull out the micro from the adapter and drop it in...

WHOA? 4 minutes and 13 seconds??

Ahem...

>facepalm<

So ... much ... time ... wasted.

Yeah... 4 minutes to load up my latest image isn't so bad...
