High resolution mode vga - beginner question

Hello! Last night was the first night I got my arpicade with a pi 4 8gb, up and running, everything seemed to work- however I am having issues setting up the config file to allow for high res.

My monitor is reporting a "signal not supported" message

My monitor is a hannspree lcd, and according to the documentation, the device supports 640x480@60 but in the documentation (I have attached a screenshot) "60" is actually, 31.469 vertical x 59.941 horizontal.

So my question(s) are as follows; and thanks for entertaining some day 1, "new guy" questions

What are the correct settings to enable 640x480 in the config file? Hdmi group? And hdmi mode values? Do these very specific horizontal and vertical refresh timings need to be called out somewhere in the config file?

Also, how do I tell the pi to switch over to the high res versions of these roms?

Again thank you for any help!

In config.txt comment out the low res video setting and uncomment the high res video setting. The default output is 480i (low res), setting to 480p should have you up and running. Do not change the hdmi mode or group settings only change the hdmi_timings 'modeline' (for lack of a better term).

No other changes should be needed.
