Scrambled video

Post by richardbjr » Sat Jan 15, 2022 5:13 pm

Hoping someone can help me with this. I have an old Arcade Legends cocktail table unit and purchased the RasberryJAMMA as a way to hopefully update it and be able to play more of the old time games.

I went ahead and got the hardware and the preconfigured SD card (so I wouldn't screw it up). Prior to the install, everything worked fine with the monitor and hardware.

Unfortunately, the attached image is the only video I get with the RasberryJAMMA installed. I believe the monitor to be a Wells Gardner 7400.

Appreciate any ideas and/or support on this.

I'm sure you've checked this already but... horizontal hold? Pins clean?

Thanks for your advice, I did check that (the hold that is, not the pins).

Issue was that I bought a preconfigured card for the RasberryJAMMA. It was not mentioned that the configuration would not work with a Raspberry Pi 4 (which is what I have). Took a bit of guessing, but I finally hooked up to a regular monitor and saw all the errors that were scrambled before.

Did a fresh install of ArPiCade 4.3 to a new card and works like a charm.

I could not recommend the product RasberryJAMMA or the ArPiCade software more, so easy to use!
