Sooooo. Made progress. It’s in. Starts. Loads all games. Sounds great. But.
The 4p adapter. The stock wire harness won’t plug into the Konami 3/4p pins.
Do I need an adapter/harness converter? (Probably it would seem…..).
Sorry for the endless questions. Thanks again!

Why doesn't the 3 and 4 player harness' fit? It should be able to work with the standard wiring, at least, it was intended to have the same pinout, pitch etc.

Re: Using stock Simpsons harness?
Seems like the lip on the 4p adapter for the ports need to be trimmed.
A buddy of mine had to do the same.
So. I did. Plugged them in. They are working!
The edge of the connector doesn’t mate up with the stock simpsons cab it seems. I checked the pin outs before attempting. Pin 15 was marked on the stock harness and 4p board.
Testing now.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but is there any chance you photographed this? I suspect I also need to trim as mine looks/feels very forced on with mixed resultsTheHandlebarGamer wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 2:47 amSeems like the lip on the 4p adapter for the ports need to be trimmed.
