Do you mean the audio jaack on the RaspberryJAMMA board? If so I'd recommend replacing it, anyone that can solder should be able to do it and parts to fit are readily available.
If it's the DAC there are a few known to work. Otherwise it's a bit of luck to find one that works right with low resolutions. One of these should be OK: https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-HDMI-Adap ... B00ZMV7RL2
