Happ spinner?

Happ spinner?
Is there any way to hook up a Happ spinner? I don't seem to see the wiring connector I would expect in the wiring harness, any advice?
Re: Happ spinner?
You will need to use a optical to USB adaptor for spinners (or trackballs). I use an Opti-Wiz with my trackball, there's others that should work fine too like the Opti-PAC etc.
Re: Happ spinner?
I hooked up a Groovy Game Gear Turbo Twist 2 spinner USB to the Pi. I also have a USB trackball hooked up to the Pi as well. Only issue I have with this set up is that my TB and spinner are close and I've bumped the spinner while using the TB. GGG has a board that will help prevent that, but I probably won't bother with it.
Re: Happ spinner?
Got it, thanks I think I'll skip it for this project. I have a USB adapter for another it I'll use it with, it had the correct connector.
I appreciate the help!

Re: Happ spinner?
i use the ultimarc spinners with zero issues. I have an 8 way rotary for frontline and wild western so your rotary should work. just have to figure out the settings in mame to use.
Re: Happ spinner?
I can recommend OptiWiz as a way to convert standard arcade trackballs or spinners to USB.
Haven't actually tried any dedicated USB spinners though.
