Does anyone have any tips or ideas about what it will take to convert an image from Pi3 to pi4? I've got an image that works great on a 3, it is fully configured and everything is just so. But I need it to work on a pi4. Is there any kind of straightforward process for getting this to work? Or is it going to be a huge project?
Thanks!
John

Not going to work. They're essentially completely different hardware. It could be made as an image that would work on either (if you started from scratch on it), but any Pi3 software with origins older than Pi4 will not work on Pi4...
Your best bet is to copy the roms, preview pic/vids etc from the Pi3 build you like and put them on a Pi4 build.

Are the folder structures and such identical though? In other words, if I build a working pi4 device, could I just copy over certain folders and get it working? Or will I have to start from scratch?
Re: Converting from Pi3 to Pi4
for roms and previews they're close enough to the same. Config files or bits of Linux will be completely different so don't copy them over from build to build.
