Love my ARpiCADE! Vertical menu tips?

Thank you for continuing to answer my many questions. For any potential buyers out there reading: this is, without a doubt, the best multi setup I've ever had. It's so much fun.

So, on the vertical menu (AttracMan_vert):

*What's the easiest way to see which emulator is running which game?

*Is there a step-by-step somewhere on how to edit my game list? I must be missing steps, because I've tried everything with Favorites and filters and still can't get games I don't want to see filtered out. (I was able to edit games out at the file level - nano + file - but that was taking forever...)

*Can I get rid of the "loading" screen?

There's no easy way to tell which emulator runs which game from the default menu. You could edit or make a theme to show that info but I'm not sure any do by default. Outside the menu the easiest way to check is to read the /home/pi/.attract/romlists/allGames.txt romlist directly or look in the rom folders. One trick to tell in the menus is to use marquees for each emulator rather than each game but that's not really a great trade off.

I haven't played around with the favourites functions of Attract-Mode so I'm no help here. I think you have to add the favourites display for it all to work. I just remove games I don't want by deleting them or hiding them in the romscanning script.

The easiest way to change the loading screen behaviour is in the file /boot/nowloadn.sh just comment out or delete lines you don't want, it will still run but you can stop it actually doing anything this way. You could also hide the loading screens by changing all the images to black images. You can disable them completely by going through each of the emulator launchers and commenting out or deleting the lines that run the loading script.
