Reverse screen?

Post by bimber » Sun Dec 01, 2019 2:26 pm

Hi. I’m trying to get my latest Arp to work in a cab with a mirror. I was able to flip the screen to display backwards via manipulation of the yoke wiring but am wondering if there isn’t a setting or hack to have the Arpicade do this. I know the screen can be flipped upside-down but am wondering about side-to-side (so everything reads backwards). Any help?

This may be possible but I haven't tried it before.

Try these settings in config.txt (they're not there by default you will need to add them):
display_hdmi_rotate 0x10000 (for horizontal flip)
display_hdmi_rotate 0x20000 (for vertical flip)

If you need further help with it I can have a go at it in the next couple of days. I'm still setting myself up again after moving home and office recently.

My screen exploded!!! Why would you tell me to do that?!?!

Ha, kidding. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks!

hahaha, love it.

Did you need one or both settings? It may help the next person that wants to do this.

I used both. It was for a vertical screen setup, so if I remember correctly I also had to rotate it as such (not sure if that's a factor or not).
