Fighter / Versus

I have the arcade image on my arpicade.

I’m slowly deleting all the Roms I do not want by selecting “e” in the game wheel the “delete this game”. It is taking forever!

I notice when I click “e” the games I want to keep are labeled “fighter / versus” under “category”.

Anyway to generate a menu with just the “fighter / versus” games?

Not a convenient one, unfortunately.

If you're trying to remove the bulk of the games you're probably better off starting from scratch and just copying the roms you do want onto a fresh copy of ARpiCADE 3.9.

Alternately, if you can access the second partition from your PC, using an advanced text editor (like Notepad++, or KATE, etc ) to find and remove lines in bulk based on search parameters is probably the easiest/fastest way.

It would also be possible to modify the rom scanning script to only list games based on some logic but it's probably not the easiest way of doing it.

Where do I find 3.9?
I see in the download section “ Update 3.72 BETA (INCREMENTAL)” - that seems to be the most recent.

4.1 is a bit experimental and limited and only for pi4.

3.9 is what you want for a RPi3 (or pi2).

I dl 3.9. Then unzipped it. I have a “disc image file” now. Do I “burn disc image”?

I think I’m on the right path. I am writing the image file to the sd card using win32diskimager.

My card is 32gb

Do I now need to use a “partition wizard”?
