Changing NEOGEO bios/regions on FBA?

Is there any way to change the BIOS that FBA uses to load Neo-Geo games? Some games have different or other features when booted with different region BIOS, or set with different dipswitches, but all the bios seem to just be the same neogeo.zip... Any tips on how to configure this or how to open the dipswitch menu to adjust settings?

I'm not certain without checking it but I think FBA uses a long hold of the coin to open the games original test menus. It can be changed in the Retroarch menus if you don't have a way to hold coin input down.
Also for FBA I think the dipswitches can also be adjusted from Retroarchs menus, I think they're in the quick menu section somewhere.
You can access Retroarchs menu while a game is running (in a Retroarch core) by pressing either 'start+b6' (cab) or 'f1' (keyboard)
