advmame and Asteroids question

is there a config file for Asteroids to make it darker? When I adjust my cab colors to make Asteroids playable (clear, crisp, and dark) then every other game is WAY to dark and lose way to much detail. Newest 3.x.1 build.

Ended up trying it in .203, after playing around with settings it looks great and plays great.
