Is there a way to normalize sound/volume

Post by cool_factor » Mon Mar 22, 2021 12:48 pm

Some ROMs are quieter than others. Bowl o rama for example is very low. If I turn up volume knob its ok but then so many other games are deafening.

Not that I know of that will work accross all emulators (although AdvMAME may have an audio normalise setting).

Some games have their own volume adjust in their service menus (eg 90s Midway stuff), you may find you can adjust any low volume games individually to match the rest.

Did ALOT of reading on this, apparently it cannot be done without a hardware solution so I found this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XDKKQ9E/re ... UTF8&psc=1.

Will update after testing...
