3b+ i have the parentrom is there a bios for irem games ? its just im getting bad frame rate with rtype leo/ undercover cops ?

and gunforce 2 ...

I'd try AdvMAME (MAME 106) for those games. At least thats where I've run them previously on Pi3.

Lack of BIOS files (for games that need them) won't result in poor performance, the games just won't work at all.
