Help with ARpiCADE 4.3

Re: Help with ARpiCADE 4.3
Have you tried ARpiCADE 4.3 into your HDMI setup at all? It may give some sort of clue to what is happening. Many HDMI monitors I've tried will display the low res image of the default settings, if nothing else you may be able to confirm what is actually being output by the Pi.

Yeah. It shows the "This board requires newer software" message.

Re: Help with ARpiCADE 4.3
Well, here's a little update.
My friend lent me again her older 8Gb Pi 4 and I used the same flashed SD card that I used before without success (what I mean is that I didn't reflashed it, if I use the same card with the same flashed 4.3 software on my Pi I get the scrambled image in my cab/this board requires newer software message in the HDMI monitor).
So I connect the older Pi 4 and it works without issue.
I just don't know why I can't make it work on my newer Pi.
For testing purposes, I downloaded another OS made for another brand of Pi JAMMA adapter which I don't have but you can download the OS for free.
If I use that and connect the Pi to my cab, I get a very small double image, which I guess it's due to not using the correct adapter.
If I use that and connect to the Pi to my HDMI monitor, I get a very small but normal image of the other OS menu.
Maybe my Pi is not booting the ARpiCADE correctly for some reason.

Re: Help with ARpiCADE 4.3
Sorry for the slow reply, I've been sick.
I'll upload a newer software for you to try in the next couple of days. Hopefully whatever is missing from 4.3 is on the newer one.
I wonder what changed in the 2 gig Pi4?

New version uploaded for you to try: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3495 It has some bugs, but hopefully it at least boots up on your newer Pi4 and gets you going. Please let me know how it goes.
