It's not really ideal for Killer Instinct, lag isn't really the issue as much as performance in general. If KI is super important to you RPi isn't going to cut it unless something changes in the future (or has already but I am not yet aware) eg. a new emulator for it or a more powerful Pi. Fully overclocked Pi4 is close for KI1 but KI2 is still not great.
