Pi4B8gb - Screen flickering on boot

Hi guys, hope someone can help me out.

I just bought a rpi4b8gb and have written the image for version 4.3.2 on the card
and hooked up to my old arcade cabinet (astro city). When I boot it up, the screen
just flickers. I have tried changing resolution in the config file to the 240p mode
but it doesn't help.

Is it the config file or the run.sh you change resolution? It seems like you can do it
on both, but perhaps i misunderstand.

Can anyone please help out?

You change the boot resolution in config.txt - but the default should be low res also.

Which HDMI output are you using on the Pi? You need to use the one closest to the SD card.

I mailed you the picture for how the hdmi-cable is connected.

The screen got green and flickery with 4.3.2, with 4.4 alpha it just got black.

Looks in the image like the JAMMA edge connector isn't well plugged in... possibly the issue, or at least part...?
