Getting my Arpicade setup and noticed that some games only have part of the sounds they should have like Dragons Lair. Is there a setting I need to look at?

If Dragons Lair is missing part of the sounds it could be one of the channels is missing caused by a damaged audio cable. This was only discovered recently but it looks like I recieved a few audio cables that only had one channel properly connected. As most arcade games are in mono I missed the error, I now check both channels before sending out.
If you have this issue I can send you another tested cable. You may find rotating the cable you have at the connection end or pressing the end in (or pulling it out slightly) can help. Alternately if you have a 3.5mm audio cable lying around you can try it. Please let me know if you would like me to send another cable.

I tried another cable and that fixed Dragons Lair.
Space Invaders is still missing some sound though. The demo has the sound but in the game only the ship that goes across the top makes sound and nothing else.

By demo do you mean the games attract mode or the video of gameplay in the menu (the video is just a video). Assuming the sound is working in the games attract mode I have no idea why it wouldn't work in game. Otherwise check if the samples for the game are in /boot/samples/
I might have to look into this to give you a more certain answer.

You probably need to add the samples for Spacies in /boot/sample to get full sound. More info about MAME samples and a link to the file you need are here:
