I tried to add Gorf to my vertical setup by adding the rom and rescanning.
Now none of the game load. Just goes to a blank screen and Arpicade freezes.
What did I screw up and how do I fix it?
Can I just download and reimage the card?

Not sure what went wrong there... particularly if it loaded to rescan the roms in the first place you probably didn't do anything majorly wrong.
Once you had rescanned the roms did you do a propper shutdown or reset after? If not maybe the card wasn't finalised and something odd happened... hard to say.
You should be able to reimage the card if nothing else seems to work. If you don't have a backup image of the card you may want to back up the roms and previews on the SD card (assuming you can still access them) to your PC before reburning the card (so you can copy the roms and previews to the newly imaged card.
