Cocktail Table

is there a way to mass change everything to be cocktail table? Every single game I go into i have to use Player1 + Right Joy to go into setup menu for game and turn it into cocktail mode so two people can play.
Is there a way to make this default for all instead of changing 700+ each at a time.

For AdvanceMAME (MAME 106) you can set an option in the config file(s) /home/pi/.advance/advmame.rc (&advmame.nosdl.rc). Just add this line to the bottom (or wherever you like really) of the file(s):
input_dipswitch[cabinet] cocktail
For the other non Advance versions of MAME I don't know of any convenient way to do it.

What versions of MAME?
I know that you can set most of the "Classics" thru dipswitch settings in Mame172.
For example .. open Pac-Man, tab into the settings menu, select "Dipswitches" and set the game to cocktail.
Understanding that if you have a ton of games you would not want to do it like this...I am unsure where you would set that in the ini (mame172 config) file?? That is where I would start.
