Originally I was having an issue running Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Certain sound effects weren't playing and the in-game attract mode had no audio. I think there is a setting that needs to be changed in the mame menu, but it's all jumbled. Here's a picture...



The sub menus are even worse. Any suggestions?

in /boot/launchers/mame172.sh find the vert game hori monitor bit and add uifont uismall.bdf like this:

## horizontal monitor settings
# vertical game on horizontal monitor

aconfig="-keepaspect -unevenstretch -nosyncrefresh -nowaitvsync -throttle -uifont uismall.bdf"

hopefully that helps.

So far no change.

It is Mame172. I edited the sh file to include the uifont uismall.bdf and ran a full rom scan.

Is there anything else I can try?

I tried seeing if I could avoid this entirely by running SSF2T in FBA, but the game won't launch.
