Playing around with an i age for the first time in a long time.
I edit my romlist manually as opposed to generating a new list every boot…
How do I differentiate between mame 106 and mame 139?
I know this will point AM towards Mame106 when doing this…or Mame172 below that
dkong;Donkey Kong;advmame;…
dkong;Donkey Kong;mame172;…
But what to use for 139?
Any help appreciated…

Re: Romlist question
This isn't too dissimilar to my thread (just below this one).
In my case i've put a copy of the same rom in every mame folder but want to differentiate within the Attract-mode GUI, like ideally have a launcher for each version of mame (like it does for each console/brand) rather than have a generic arcade list with multiple entries for the same rom and having no idea which version of mame is launching it.

should be it.
You can also generate the romlist from the service menu when you have the startup scan off.
