Where's the Attract-Mode game info source list hiding?

Hello! I'm a total n00b to Linux and am loving my Arpicade, which is housed inside my vertical New Astro City.

Right, intro over. :)

Please can anybody advise what and where the source file is that's used to provide game name, year and company in Attract-Mode?

I've found the romlists where they can be edited, but as soon as I rescan arcade ROMs any changes are zapped. My theory is that it must source the info from a file somewhere, so I just need to find that somewhere so that I can make perma-changes.

I'd just like to fix several errors/omissions in it, and will be happy to share the file once done. Well, if I can find it... ;)

Many thanks for reading - many more if you can please provide an answer!

They are the TXT files that are located on the LINUX formatted drive in the folder:

home/pi/.attract/romlists

If you can't access the linux formatted drive, you can download software called "Linux File System for Windows" here: https://www.paragon-software.com/home/linuxfs-windows/

It's a paid program BUT it has a trial period and even after the trial period it works ... just half/assed... but it's well worth the $20.00 they're asking for it... so buy it!

The reference files the game list is derived from are in /home/pi/.advance/ called [emulator].lst
Each MAME version has it's own file.
