SDArcade V3.0
SDArcade is the PERFECT Attract-Mode front end theme for lower resolution arcade monitor setups. Originally made by JediOne for the PC version of Attract-Mode in the vein of the ArcadeSD arcade multigame system, Dee2er converted it for use with the Pi. It's been through a number of changes since then. Version 3 brings to the table a number of new features including backgrounds, static frames and more...
FEATURES:
• select vertical or horizontal mode
• 8 backgrounds or the original black
• 8 static frames or the original animated color changing frame
• 3 sizes of "preview" frame to choose from
• 5 header animation types
• select wheel graphics or marquee graphics for the header
• more...
You can download it here:

Re: SDArcade V3.0
Thank you sir.
I am not seeing frames.png being called anywhere?
1. I have clock working on yours now in upper middle. (v2.3)
2. Slider working based on number of games etc (v2.3)
Those theme in Notepad ++ you have to mess with them. My eyesight can't handle small white characters! lol
By the way great job, love how you changed your scanlines code...

Re: SDArcade V3.0
I am not sure what you mean by frames.png...
Clock code is cool, but I don't have my Pi3 setup for network so it wouldn't work for me regardless... but something to think about I suppose...
Yeah, a slider would be cool. I was looking at some code over at attractmode but haven't got futher.
PS: Scanline code is the same as what it was before? I've not modified it (knowingly).

Was referring to images included in your theme called FRAMES.png and FRAMES_V.png.. I like to tinker and see what is what...FrizzleFried wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 3:55 pmI am not sure what you mean by frames.png...

Yea, clock code is only good if you have networked/wi-fi connected. But is kinda nice. Learning more code.. lol
The slider code I found works, but don't like the graphic I have, tweaking it...
The scanline code looks to be moved to the bottom v2.3 vs v3.0?? It looked like less code is all I was saying sir.. It's good...
That your last of this one? Whats up next? hahaha

Re: SDArcade V3.0
I "thought" i left a couple extra images in there... I did a quick search and missed them.
Durr..
EDIT: double DURR... I was looking for those... I had made them to post them here and couldn't find them in the folder I THOUGHT I was saving to. I'll remove those two files and re-upload the image... 400K or so (before compression) is probably enough to warrant repackaging.
EDIT #3: Turns out that my bloomin' ZIP program was APPENDING the zip file rather than creating new files... so a bunch of extra files were in that last zip file. Needless files. The new ZIP file is about 60% the size...

First link fixed too...

Re: SDArcade V3.0
As always, there has been a tweak made here and there since release. I'll probably hold off on releasing a "final" for a month or two ... lets any/all tweaks or fixes build up...
FWIW, I'd intended to increase the font size of the GAME x OF x and PLAYED x TIMES lines 2 points larger... they're a bit too small right now.
