Hello all,
I may post this in a few areas so don't roast me
I've been playing around with things for a few evenings just for the hell of it.
Has anyone out there been able to get the above (20pacngal) able to work on the ARpiCade?
I have it working on a PC Mame set up (actually both 167 and 174) but can't seem to get it up and running on any of my ARpiCade builds.
Using Attract Mode and am manually adding the rom to the gamelist...I have also tried building the gamelist. I'm wondering if the naming of the rom has something to do with it...as the snap, marquee or wheel art also do not show up.
Is there possibly an XML issue?? I know in the past on HyperSpin and MaLa that would occassionally rear its ugly head.
I am not near my setup area right now but I thought I would post anyway.
Thanks to anyone for sharing their thoughts.
Matt

Re: Ms. Pacman & Galaga 20th Anniversary
I've just had a play and it works well in MAME 172, the framerate seemed inconsistant in 192. With the automated romscan it shows up in the menu as Ms Pacman which I'll look into (prob just xml to fix).
You will need to configure the start buttons for Galaga in the MAME menus as the default is player 3 and player 4 starts which don't exist on a standard setup (on a keyboard it will be '3' and '4' on the default setup but there's no JAMMA buttons assigned). Other than that both games seem to play fine from my very quick test games.
EDIT:
you can fix the name in the menu by editing /home/pi/.advance/mame172.lst find the entry for 20pacgal and replace the "/" with an "&" or whatever you prefer in the name. In the original name "Ms Pacman/Galaga 20th ..." the / is ignored by Attract and causes everything after it to be ignored too.

Thanks, changed the name in the advance list. Everything works fine now.
