Monitor out of range?

Post by shredder78 » Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:01 pm

OK, so got my new jammaboard and 3/4 player adaptor from high schore saves and put it in my game room goodies machine, with flat modern monitor.

I get an error,
Out of Range, H15.8khz V30Hz

any ideas on how to fix this one? Oddly, older games like jr pacman look perfect, where as newer games like tmnt give me an error like this.

If I had to guess you have the software running in the default low res settings but have a high res monitor? And the monitor can display 480i but not 240p(?)...

The solution is to adjust config.txt to use the high res mode. Disable the overscan settings while you are in the file too.
