How to start a midway game in a Konami xmen

I have a dedicated xmen Konami cab…. I want to play NBA jam games. But I don’t have start buttons? I know I have to edit the game menu with the tab button on my keyboard…. But I am not sure after that? I don’t want to add any more buttons, I have 3 buttons. What do I do?
Has anyone done this that can give me a step by step?
