Ah, I understand now. That's the correct behaviour in the current release. The service menu now loads when you exit the first instance of Attract-Mode (default is now F4 on keyboard to exit Attract). I made this change for people who wanted to have different lists set up for different manufacturers or consoles or favs etc. - this way the service menu doesn't pop up when you go through multiple game lists.

If you want the previous press service for service menu you will need to map service to exit Attract-Mode in the A-M menus.

So if not remapped a keyboard is only way to access now?

I haven't found a way yet. But I would imagine it should be as easy as mapping a few buttons to exit attract mode.

I actually prefer having the service menu cycle through, I don't have too many displays so it's not that much of a pain.

It's easy to map a new exit button from inside Attract-Mode. You don't even need a keyboard to do it (if your cab has a test button), 'test' should open Attract-Modes menus.

It's times like this that a $16.00 USB tiny keyboard works incredibly well...

Where can a guy get more information on configuring trackball/spinners with 3.82? I am hoping to use an Ultimarc Opti-trac/USB interface if it is doable.

Does anyone know if I can drop this thing in a Cruisn' USA machine and use the steering wheel?

Ideally I would love to link cabinets and have two but I probably need to figure out if one will work first.

No way the Pi 3 has the horsepower to run Cruisi'n...

Sorry without the hardware I'm not sure what may be required or if it will 'just work' with the default setup. I only have the one type of optical interface, so for at least a while until I start recieving more feedback as to what works, I just don't know.

As a general rule, any 3D arcade game will run slow on a Pi. I'm sure there's an exception but can't currently think of it. (EDITED: I think I-Robot is the 3D exception)
