-------------------------------------
HOW TO
-------------------------------------
Install
Just write the image with your favourite tool (etcher is nice) and insert it in your RPi3.

USB stick as ROM storage
1. Format your USB stick (8Gb minimum) : FAT32 or EXFAT (better)
2. Extract the USBStick_files archive at the root of the stick
3. Add roms (see below)
4. Insert it on RPI3
5. Go to the main menu with P1 Start button and choose the first line (system setup). On internal storage, select your stick, validate, reboot and voilà !

Add roms
The tricky part. 4 ways to add ROM in RecalBox : Through network share; with the integrated web server, with Linux (SHARE partition on the SDCard); with a USB stick.

Network share
1. Configure your WIFI (Menu / network)
2. Windows File Explorer, click on Network then Recalbox / roms
3. Copy your roms on the chosen emulator directory

Web server
1. Configure your WIFI (Menu / network) - note your assigned IP address
2. In your browser, type http://youripaddress
3. On the left sidebar, click Roms then the chosen emulator.
4. Click on the button "upload roms"

Linux
If you have Linux, you know how to do it... ;-)

USB stick
1. Go to NAME_OF_USBSTICK/recalbox/roms
2. Copy your roms inside chosen emulator folder

MAME & FBA compatible sets
Here are the sets supported:
MAME2003: 0.78
FBA: 0.2.97.42

Usage
Buttons
P1B3: jump backward page to page on the rom list
P1B4: select
P1B5: back
P1B6: jump forward page to page on the rom list
P1Start: System menu
Coins: Hotkey / add coins with FBA & Mame

Going back to Emulstation from a game : P1Start for at least 2 seconds

Update game list
1. Go to system menu
2. Select Games settings
3. Select Update games lists
4. Voilà !

Theme selection
1. Go to system menu
2. Select UI settings
4. Select your theme with Theme set (more than 10 240p and 480i themes pre-installed)
5. Close
6. Voilà !

Warnings
- After system changes, reboot the recalbox with the system menu. If you don't do that, all the changes will be lost on the next start up (Recalbox saves changes on restart or shutdown command). You can safely shut-off your RPI3 from emulstation with hard power off after that.
- Don't do updates through the system menu (off by default). Doing that will brake all the necessary Arpicade custom optimisations. I won't help people doing that...
- The updates I may do in the futur will erase your sdcard (not the USB stick). If you want to update and keep your ROMs, use a USB Stick or make a backup of roms folder before doing the update.

------------------------
WHAT COMES NEXT
------------------------
Todo list:
- ScummVM at 240p
- visual control of image centering
- find a way to update easily the RecalBox image with the RaspJamma conversion
- you'll tell me

Have fun!

Very cool! Thanks for posting it.

Just one question, where do CD32 isos go? I have tried both the amiga 600 and 1200 rom folders but there doesn't seem to be one for cd32.

Dee2er, let me guess, you're only using the sdcard?
As i use only the USBStick I have forgot to create the Cd32 directory on the sdcard.
Create a 'amigacd32' directory in the rom folder. Put your cue/bin or cue/iso in it.

You're absolutely right.

I tried creating the folder but it still didn't see my iso. I guess I needed to have a cue file too. Will try again later.

You need a .CUE file for now.

[EDIT] I've found more issues for sdcard only configuration. I have to do an in-depth corrections. You'll have to download the iso again i'm afraid.

Ah, that may explain why I wound up with a blackscreen once I got a rom recognised.

Will it work if I grab the USB stick bits?

It would work with an USB stick but i've update the config on the sdcard to manage ISO files too. Download link will be updated in a few minutes. It's only the sdcard image that is impacted not the USBStick files.

Dee2er please re-download the sdcard file image (links have been updated), CD32 Iso and/or CUE are working good now.
