Hey everyone, I'm a newbie here. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I have a multicade cabinet with JAMMA and standard res 19" monitor. I have been running an ArcadeSD pcb with no problems for years in it. All working perfectly. But, I wanted to get some new games on the cabinet, so I bought an Arpicade PCB from highscoresaves. It arrived the other day, but so far I'm not able to get it working.
I am using a Raspberry Pi 3B+ which I have been using attached to a TV, and has worked perfectly for a few months now, but I'm still very much a newbie to the Pi.
What I have done so far (of course first I attached the pi to the arpicade board etc.):
(1) burned arpicade v3.83 to an 8GB msd, added a few test roms to some of the rom folders.
(2) renamed config240.txt to config.txt (assuming that is correct for my standard res crt)
(3) plugged the board into my JAMMA port and powered on
What I get is nothing onscreen, and the red LED on the rpi3b+ blinks 4x slow, then 4x fast, then repeats.
Not sure what to do next. Haven't been able to find an explanation for the LED blinking yet; I'm assuming it is an error code.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ARpiCADE is setup for low res by default. Maybe try using the original config.txt or re-imaging (doing only steps 1 and 3 of your original try).
Once you've gotten going if you do need to change the resolution to the progressive scan only 240p mode you can do so in the service menu without having to do any direct file editing.

OMG, I feel so stupid right now.
So, yeah, I forgot to plug the HDMI cable from the arpicade into the Pi. Now I have display and it looks amazing! Now I just need to set the rotation correctly etc.
THANK YOU.
