AdvMAME Astro-Blaster Not Saving High Scores

AdvMAME Astro-Blaster is not saving high scores. I could have swore they were once.

Also... Carnival... high scores are all jacked up. What file do I delete to fix that issue?

Delete the existing .hi files for those games in /home/pi/.advance/hi and hopefully it will fix them both up for you.

Carnival was fixed with a delete of the HI file.

Unfortunately, Astro-Blaster was not. Still not saving high scores. I was able to rectify the situation by moving over to MAME172 with that ROM, however.

Yeah, I noticed this a couple of days ago. I moved Astro Blaster to 172 and it now saves the scores.

This is such a good game. Love the voices!

The Japanese were way ahead of us on voice in arcade games in 1980... that is for sure...
