Screen Flipping Question

Hi, i wanted to do a little experiment with one of my Arpicades, i have a empty Space Invaders Deluxe cabinet without a monitor, i was thinking i trying a 19" LCD in it with a few games that i could use with the 2 buttons for moment and a single fire, obviously Space Invader and a few others, maybe Galaga and Galaxian. Anyway is there a way to flip the display in the settings or config to display everything backwards so its correct in the mirror? With a CRT i know this is not a problem but i have not way of flipping the display on the LCD itself.

I'm not sure. It may be possible but I don't know offhand.

If it's not possible on a system wide level I suspect it would be possible in some versions of MAME and maybe Retroarch. For example MAME 172 has flip_x and flip_y settings in it's ini file (/home/pi/mame172/mame.ini).

Sorry I don't really have more info on this one. I'll try and look into an easy way to do the whole system at once.

I think this may actually be possible on a system level. Haven't tried anything but just came across these settings for config.txt:
display_hdmi_rotate 0x10000 (for horizontal flip)
display_hdmi_rotate 0x20000 (for vertical flip)
